ART SHOWS AND
Here is where I showcase some of my special projects and art shows
Peoria Chiefs T-Shirt promotion. During the summer of 2016, The Chiefs asked me to illustrate a series of T-Shirts with caricatures of former players, in their old Chiefs uniforms. These are players and managers that when on to have great careers in the majors. It was fun drawing folks like Yadier Molina and Joe Maddon. to the right is some of the art and pictures friends sent me wearing the shirts. I even did a caricature of Dozer Park.
Metamora Old Settlers Days Art Show. I was honored to be selected at the exclusive artist for the 2017 show. Hundreds of folks came to the Metamora Square during Old Settler's Days and viewed my original paintings and artwork from the Captain Jinks Show. Thanks to the Metamora Women's Club for inviting me and setting up the Show. Thanks to the many folks you purchased my paintings and had me draw their caricature. I was also featured in a special interview on News 25 Today. You can see the caricature I drew of the news team in the photo slideshow on the right. Northwoods Mall Canvas Projects. Northwoods Mall in Peoria asked me to participate in their "Canvas Project", painting large scale paintings at the mall over several weeks so shoppers could watch the progress. The mall asked me to do two paintings At the right is a slideshow showing the progression each painting. I had the opportunity to visit with many folks and talk about the creative process. I even drew some caricatures of the folks who followed along. I had the assistance of my home school art students who did a great job adding to the canvas. Local TV covered me starting and completing the art. You can see these and the other paintings at Northwoods on the upper level.
